Street Scenes from Hanoi

Hanoi, in Northern Vietnam, reminds me of New Orleans in a historic, French, moody, humid sort of way. But, it is distinctly its own. There is a genuineness in the life the people are leading, and a sense of impressive hustle. The streets are busy with controlled chaos, zipping scooters and small shops with wares that spill out into the narrow sidewalks.
